LG unveils incredible 65-inch "roll-away" 4K TV

LG unveils incredible 65-inch

During its CES 2019 press meet, LG revealed the Signature OLED TV R, its first rollable OLED TV that will be available for purchase later this year.

'A rollable OLED TV is a true game-changer, liberating users from the limitations of the wall and freeing them to curate their own personal space which no longer needs to be reserved full time for TV viewing'. With the LG Signature OLED TV R, this could be changed.

A 12.3 inch OLED panel destined for use in the automotive industry has been introduced, with 45 percent transparency that perhaps previews a future where vehicle windows can keep the kids entertained. The center is open along the bottom, allowing for storage, and the middle is a 4.2 forward firing Dolby Atmos system.

What is whopping 88-inch in size and comes with a mind-boggling 8K resolution? In addition, all 2019 LG TV will make use of LG's α9 Gen 2 processor to offer enhanced picture and sound by analysing the content source and the ambient conditions around the TV to deliver more optimised content.

LG's has unveiled a new TV which can be rolled up to store away or viewed at a range of angles.

Other cool features of the LG Signature OLED TV R include Alexa compatibility and easy syncing with AirPlay 2.

iPhone or iPad users can now easily play videos from iTunes or other video apps to the LG TVs without the need for Apple TV streaming console. LG pitches this as ideal for action movies and sports, although it should also be ideal for gaming where the slightest bit of unintended blur can spoil the experience.

As its name implies, it is a capsule-based system that brews beer with a touch of the button.
