WATCH Susan Boyle's VERY glamorous performance on America's Got Talent

WATCH Susan Boyle's VERY glamorous performance on America's Got Talent”

The Britain's Got Talent 2009 runner-up performed "Wild Horses" by The Rolling Stones and got a standing ovation from both the audience and the coaches. But it was Mel B who made sure she stayed on the show by giving Susan the golden buzzer, sending her straight to the finals.

A third wrote: "I pray you win the champion".

Simon Cowell told Susan she was the "defining" contestant of the Got Talent series.

"I'm very happy and very humble", Boyle said of the accolades following her performance.

Boyle - who shot to fame after finishing in second place on Britain's Got Talent in 2009 - was competing on the USA show and stunned judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum, but it was Mel B who was moved to press the coveted Golden Buzzer.

"The anniversary of her audition which made headlines around the world is the flawless time to launch a career comeback, and Simon and Susan are both very excited about the year ahead". "Your angelic voice and I want to be the woman who gives you something you deserve", Mel B said after pressing the button.

Her first audition, a rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables, famously stunned the audience and judges alike. Despite not being an official champion, Boyle proudly said, "For those who maybe don't have the confidence to do things, for those who maybe don't have a voice, the ones who people tend to ignore, I feel I'm a champion for them".

America's Got Talent: The Champions will return on January 14 (NBC, 8 EST/PST) with 10 more former winners and finalist, including singing ventriloquist sensation Darci Lynne Farmer.

It just goes to show that one performance on a talent show, like Boyle's iconic 2009 audition, really can change a person's life forever.

Another added: "Susan Boyle is back and she looks hotter than ever folks!" She has released a further six studio albums, and been nominated for two Grammy Awards.
