Thunder’s Nerlens Noel Stretchered Off Following Scary Collision, Fall

Thunder’s Nerlens Noel Stretchered Off Following Scary Collision, Fall”

Andrew Wiggins is denying that he referred to another player as "gay" after his Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night.

Noel took an elbow to the face from Andrew Wiggins as the Timberwolves guard went up for a dunk attempt in the third quarter.

He has entered the NBA's concussion protocol and there is no timeline for his return, the Thunder said in Wednesday's update. I didn't really see it until I saw him on the ground. "I hope he gets healthy soon and comes back stronger".

The play was reviewed and no additional fouls were called. Uh, he was just getting. "It's unfortunate that it happened".

But after the game, Oklahoma City's Steven Adams said Wiggins hadn't intentionally tried to hurt Noel. He shouldn't be taking any blame for it whatsoever. "It was one of those things I just felt". Fortunately they responded quite quickly, the medical staff. It was really good.

In his next post, Wiggins did not use the word apology, but said: "I have the utmost love and respect for the LGBTQIA community and I would never use any term to disrespect them in anyway". "Down the stretch, there were so many times where we could have disbanded and then the crowd could have got into us".

According to ESPN, Schroder seemed unhappy with the Timberwolves' reactions after Noel was taken off the court in a stretcher.

A few minutes after Noel's fall, a skirmish broke out between Thunder guard Dennis Schroder and Wolves guard Jeff Teague.

The comments came after the Timberwolves 119-117 win Tuesday evening, when Wiggins told reporters that Schroder "was acting insane for no reason". The much-maligned wing totaled 40 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in a 119-117 victory against the Thunder. He's not someone I look at as a problem.
