As Chicago braced for unsafe cold, Trump joked about global warming”

Keeping up with his penchant for simply creating words, US President Donald Trump has asked global "waming" to make a return for "beautiful Midwest" in the country, which is now experiencing chilly weather conditions due to a polar vortex. What the hell is going on with Global Waming (sic)?

Trump has long dismissed global warming, and in late November said he wasn't among the "believers" who see climate change as a pressing problem.

By Wednesday, dangerously cold wind chills caused by a displaced polar vortex are expected to drop temperatures in the Midwest near negative 30F and the wind chill could be as low as negative 50F or 60F - the lowest they've been in more than two decades, reported.

Trump's recent tweet adds to the freakish things he has already said about global warming. "Please come back fast, we need you!", Trump tweeted. "In coming days, expected to get even colder", Trump wrote.

As Chicago and much of the Midwest braced for a risky blast of Arctic air - the worst in recent memory - President Trump leaped at the chance to take a questionable swipe at one of his favorite targets, global warming. "People can't last outside even for minutes".

Temperatures are expected to rise into the 40s and 50s throughout the Midwest over the weekend, the Weather Channel said. Amid freezing temperatures previous year, Trump tweeted: "Brutal and Extended Cold Blast could shatter ALL RECORDS - Whatever happened to Global Warming?"

CNN has also previously noted that, according to climate scientists, linking temperatures in a certain location to the existence of global warming is an entirely inaccurate way to view global warming.

"There he goes again", tweeted New York Times climate reporter Henry Fountain.

She tweeted: "Global warming is a warming World".
