The Division 2's 'Private Beta' features early missions and secret endgame content

The Division 2's 'Private Beta' features early missions and secret endgame content”

Ubisoft said The Division 2 has had the "fastest uptake in beta registrations" for any game in company history.

The revealing private beta trailer highlights what players can expect to find content wise in the beta period, along with showing some tempting gameplay footage.

The Division 2 shifts the setting from New York City to a ruined Washington DC.

It's no secret that The Division 2 will have a private beta that's exclusive for those who pre-ordered the game, or for those who purchase specially marked cans of Mountain Dew Gamer Fuel. To start things off, the private beta will take place on February 7-10 for all platforms the game is releasing on - PS4, Xbox One and PC.

For those of you more interested in the PvE aspect of The Division 2, the beta will offer two main missions, available in Story, Normal and Hard Mode. We already knew that The Division 2 would be getting its first beta test wave in February, but now we have a few more details, including a final date, timings and what content will be available. You may pre-load the beta on starting 24 hours beforehand.

Additionally, one slice of endgame content is included in the beta: an Invaded mission will unlock on February 8 at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT / 8 PM AET. This will boost players to the level cap (30), which will allow you to unlock the Survivalist, Sharpshooter or Demolitionist specializations. As an avid player of the first game, it was refreshing to see how committed Ubisoft was to deliver on the vision they had originally promised.
