Moto G7 plus takes the Geekbench test hours ahead of launch”

All phones are certainly mid-range, but do feature that newish-school design with a bigger and notched display that stretches to the corners. It's not coming to the United States at all. Motorola calls this a compact design, even though it has a 5.7-inch screen which was considered huge a decade ago.

On the front, the bezels surrounding the display have significantly reduced compared to the Moto G6 Plus and the result is a striking looking device - though we feel the Motorola logo could have been ditched like the front-facing fingerprint sensor to further reduce the device's form factor.

Under the hood, you'll find a Snapdragon 632 processor and this device also includes that turbocharging technology.

All Moto G7 models will be available in Europe starting mid-February. Moto G7 Power retails at $249 while Moto G7 Play comes for $199. It has the smallest notch of the three phones and it's also the only model with a dual-lens rear camera.

Camera testing will have to wait until we review the G7 Plus in full, but there are some new camera features worth mentioning.

The Moto G7 Power will launch at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. "We designed the moto g7 power with a industry leading 5000 mAh battery, so you can work and play for 60 hours on a single charge.2,6 When you do need to refuel, get hours of power in just minutes with TurboPowerTM charging, so you can get back to doing what you love.2 Enjoy ultrawide views on the stunning 6.2" Max Vision HD+ display and put all that battery life to work enjoying your favorite movies, videos and games. Unlike the G7 however, the G7 Power's HD+ screen sports a full-sized notch. It has the same 6.2” 1080p+ display and 3,000mAh battery. That'll probably last you about 3 days.

With the Moto G7 family, Motorola has a mid-range phone for everyone

That leaves us with the regular G7, which, despite not having a more descriptive name, is the best of the lot. It's also a bit heavier at 198 grams. It delivers better and faster chipsets, cameras and charging. For selfies it has a 12-megapixel camera.

On the front, you'll notice the notch is narrower than the G7 Play, but it's still pretty prominent. The G7 and G7 Plus both have a screen resolution of 2,270x1,080 (403 dpi), while the more cost-effective Play and Power models have a screen resolution of 1,520x720.

The new Moto G7 Power will be released in the USA starting this spring with subsequent availability at T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Cricket Wireless (as the moto g7 supra), Consumer Cellular, Republic Wireless, Ting and Xfinity Mobile, and will be universally unlocked at Best Buy, B&H Photo, Walmart and on Pricing also remains mostly unknown outside the US, though the Moto G7 Plus will start at 299.99 euros (~$341). The G7 does take the RAM to 4GB and the storage capacity to 64GB with expansion via microSD card slot. The white one has nice shiny chrome edges too, so that one looks great. On the camera end, it features a dual camera setup at its rear side comprising a 12MP+5MP combo. There's also a second camera which is only 5 megapixel and is only used as a depth sensor for those chintzy background blur filters that try to simulate narrow depth-of-field but never really succeed in doing it right... at least that's what I have to say.

For your money, you get Snapdragon 632 processor, 5.7-inch Max Vision display and 13-megapixel rear camera.

The Moto G7 Plus is enhanced over the other three models in several aspects even though the design looks like the G7. The notch is where the selfie camera lives, which also comes with facial recognition for unlocking the phone.
