So far, about 47 per cent of the complaints are difficulty in sending emails.

Several Google users on Wednesday reported problems with accessing Gmail and other services in large parts of the world.

However, some users in India too are reportedly facing issues in accessing Google services. "We are continuing to investigate this issue".

Most reports of outage have been reported from the the US, Canada, Japan, Malaysia and Australia. The issue was apparently affecting users of workplace G-Suite accounts as well as Google account holders, though the reason for the outbreak remained unclear and come users could still access Google Drive.

Google is yet to divulge the reason for the outages or when they are likely to be resolved.

There's now no word on what's causing the issue or how long it might take to resolve.
