Lady Gaga mocks pregnancy rumors with a truly A+ tweet

Lady Gaga mocks pregnancy rumors with a truly A+ tweet”

Lady Gaga has something cooking - but it sure isn't a baby.

On Tuesday, Gaga took to Twitter to shut the rumors down full stop, tweeting that she's only "pregnant" with one thing right now.

"Rumors I'm pregnant? Yeah, I'm pregnant with #LG6", the singer wrote.

It will be her sixth studio album and her first since 2016's Joanne.

The post followed a tabloid report earlier this month that insinuated that Gaga could be pregnant with A Star Is Born co-star and director, Bradley Cooper. She hasn't shared much about what her next album would be like, but she's been rumored to have worked on new music with Mark Ronson, Bloodpop, Sophie, DJ Whiteshadow, and Boys Noize.

However, Gaga dismissed the idea during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few days later.

What to do if you're a famous person constantly trying to field a sea of dating gossip and pregnancy rumors?

When asked about the rumours, Gaga - who performed "Shallow" from the movie with Bradley at the Oscars, where the rumours started - simply rolled her eyes, before she said: "First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it's done to pop culture is abysmal". Yes, people saw love and guess what? "That's what we wanted you to see", she said.

Gaga lent her voice to "A Star Is Born" soundtracks and title song "Shallow", which went on to win not only an Academy Award but also a Grammy and a Golden Globe. "It was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time".

"I'm an artist and I guess [Bradley and I] did a good job... fooled ya!" she added.
