Woman almost kicked off Thomas Cook flight over crop top

Woman almost kicked off Thomas Cook flight over crop top”

She added that when she refused to change what she was wearing, a manager went to get her bag in order to remove her from the flight.

"The staff said nothing to him", she wrote.

Later on, a spokesperson of Thomas Cook airlines apologized to the woman for their behavior.

Emily added she felt she was targeted as there was a man sat behind her wearing pair of shorts and a vest.

"I was so upset and they could clearly see that yet they continued to note how inappropriate and offensive I was".

"I couldn't think about anything else for the rest of the holiday", she told the Birmingham Mail.

Responding to a tweet saying it was unsuitable to wear underwear on planes, Miss O'Connor said she had bought the item in the "summer tops" section of Zara previous year.

A British woman has launched an all-out attack against Thomas Cook Airlines for threatening to remove her from the flight because of her objectionable wear.

I was given a jacket by my cousin sitting at the front of the plane and they did not leave until I physically put it on.

21-year-old Emily O'Connor says she was left "shaking and upset" after being told her outfit, a crop-top and high waisted trousers, was "causing offence".

She said: "Let's get a few facts straight".

Liz added: "I don't want to criticise you Emily but we live in a world today where we get all these sexy selfies". Or an even bigger question still, why does anybody give a flying (yes I know what I did there) fuck what anybody else wears?

She also thanked people for the support, posting on Twitter: "Just a quick message to say thank you to everyone that has stuck up for me".

The airline has now apologised to her.

Thomas Cook released a statement after the incident apologising for the ordeal Emily had to go through and promised that they would look into the matter. "It's clear we could have handled the situation better", the statement read.

"In common with most airlines, we have an appropriate clothing policy". A man then shouted 'Shut up you pathetic woman. "Our crews have the hard task of implementing that policy and don't always get it right", the airline added.

The crew member then showed Ms. O'Connor page 113 of the inflight magazine, which stated that customers "wearing inappropriate attire" would not be allowed to travel "unless a change of clothes is possible".
