'Kabir Singh' teaser out: Shahid Kapoor nails it with intense angry look”

The film happens to be a remake of the superhit Telugu film Arjun Reddy which was released in the year 2017. Shahid, who has superseded everyone's expectations with his portrayal of Kabir Singh, happily posed with his cast for the shutterbugs.

The teaser begins with Shahid filling his whisky bottle with water, then Shahid smoking, then Shahid abusing and beating up people, then Shahid snorting cocaine. In the teaser, one can also see a glimpse of Shahid and Kiara's romance which seems to be quite promising. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who was among the first celebrities to share the film's teaser, praised film's lead actors Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in his tweet and wrote: "Super teaser Shahid Kapoor, owning it and how!" Vijay Deverakonda was far more intense and bohemian in the Teaser for "Arjun Reddy".

Kapoor shared the teaser on his Twitter account and posted: "I'm not a rebel without a cause. this is ME!" Kabir Singh will hit the screens on June 21, 2019. Kiara's character, on the other hand, is of a student at the same institute and is shown quite shy and timid.
