Man Utd Star Puts Future In Doubt After Contract Update

Man Utd Star Puts Future In Doubt After Contract Update”

Ander Herrera is to leave Manchester United for Paris Saint-Germain when his present contract expires this summer.

It has been claimed that Herrera's agent has been in negotiations with the French giants, perhaps indirectly leading to his absence from the Red Devils' Champions League squad on Wednesday.

Herrera is believed to be in talks with Manchester United about extending his deal at Old Trafford, but an agreement has not yet been reached.

The Norwegian also confirmed that Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailly will miss the clash at Old Trafford.

United paid Athletic Bilbao £29m for Herrera in 2014.

With a lucrative offer from PSG on the table, Herrera is thought to have been demanding in excess of £200,000 a week from United, which the club have been unwilling to meet.

In an interview with Diario ABC at the weekend, Herrera admitted: "As it is right now, Manchester and I are not thinking alike".

"What I have clear is that I'm going to continue playing in a big team..."

The 29-year-old has now added to rumours of a United exit after stating: "I won't close any doors".

"I feel well and I want to continue in football for as long as my body allows me to, because the day I retire I will begin to regret to have hung up my boots".

'I will listen to United, of course, but also to other clubs.
