Fortnite Buccaneer's Bounty Challenge and Reward - Day 3

Fortnite Buccaneer's Bounty Challenge and Reward - Day 3”

The new/modified locations for Season 8 have been a focus for Epic Games and have added several challenges relating to the camp in the past. Just after these were utilized once again for a special, limited-time Buccaneer's Bounty event challenge, Week 7 challenges have come online and again want you to go to a pirate camp. But it's not all good news.

Much like the Respawn Beacon, players can use the Reboot Van to bring back squad mates that have been eliminated in the game.

We've hopped into Fortnite to confirm that these are all, in fact, correct, and can confirm that Reboot Vans appear at all locations marked on the map below.

Reboot Vans can be found in all major points of interest during duo and squad games. These essentially enable eliminated teammates to be revived as long as you can grab their Reboot Card. Firstly, Reboot Cards will only be available for pickup for 90 seconds after they've been dropped.

Any member of the squad can revive a fallen teammate after their card has been collected; it doesn't have to be the player who picked up the card.

The first thing to note is that after a Reboot Van has been used by anyone, it has a 120 second cooldown time. You obviously won't find them in solo matches, and Epic has decided not to include them in big team LTMs, either.

The Fly Explosives limited time mode also makes an appearance with this patch. Doing so will hopefully allow you to find a weapon before anyone else, giving you the upper hand.

The first of the four Buccaneer's Bounty challenges is pretty simple: it asks you to visit a pirate cap in different matches 10 times. Complete the free challenges in each one to earn the in-game rewards between April 10-15. You can read through them all by checking out the full patch notes on the Fortnite blog. You can see the emote in action below. Overnight, it seems that Epic has filled in every single site, replenishing each rock back to 100 million health.
