Millionaire Wants to Create a Real-Life Battle Royale Competition

Millionaire Wants to Create a Real-Life Battle Royale Competition”

A very wealthy person, who now remains anonymous, has had the idea to create a 100-person battle royale event on a private island but needs a little help from a talented game maker who can help the organizers design the arena. According to the post, they were approached by one of their customers who is now on the hunt for a private island and a skilled game maker. The first stage of planning will begin after the 10 of May, by which time a firm will be selected to organise the first real-life battle royale. The victor will get £100,000.

The description of the "tournament" on the website says that it, "Drew nearer by one of our clients, who was watchful for a private island, for help in setting up the title".

HushHush explains that they were approached by a customer who's looking for a private island to help set up the championship, and HushHush will also be handling registration when the time arrives.

Interested in helping to design the arena? Competitors will then camp for the night.

If you'd rather a slightly safer way to earn some cash, the team behind the game are looking for someone to put the whole thing together, offering a "gamemaker" £45,000 ($59,000) over six weeks to create the event. The site is hoping to also recruit a game developer to set up the 100-player, last-person-standing game. But worry not, participants will be using Airsoft guns paired with touch-sensitive armors.

The victor of the event itself will bag themselves £100,000 ($130,000) if they can survive the gruelling 12 hours of Airsoft combat each day. They'll get food and camping equipment, and will presumably be allowed to move about freely during the 12-hour detente. Unlike the usual objective of any battle royale games, this insane event doesn't require people killing each other -which is a good thing, by the way. "If the championship is a success this year, it's something he wants to make an annual event moving forward, which is very exciting", HushHush founder Aaron Harpin said.
