This is Ariana Grande's brain on PTSD. 'Not a joke,' she says

This is Ariana Grande's brain on PTSD. 'Not a joke,' she says”

Although Ariana was able to get out safely, the attack obviously had a huge affect on her.

The "7 Rings" singer shared photos of a scan of her brain that appears to show severe levels of post-traumatic stress disorder.

"Not a joke", she captions a screenshot of three brains scans she sent in a group text message.

See, her brain images were lit up brighter than the one showing PTSD activity.

Speaking to British Vogue previous year, she explained the impact the socking event had on her. It is hard to talk about because many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. I know those families and fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well'. "You think with time it'll become easier to talk about". Her own ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson caused a social media scare in December in a worrying tweet, "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore". I've always had anxiety.

She eventually returned to Manchester to headline her charity concert "One Love Manchester" for victims of the bombing.

When asked if the dizziness and the anxiety she had been experiencing after the bombing were signs of PTSD, she said: 'I hate...admitting it but it very much is. I would be in a good mood, fine and happy, and they would hit me out of nowhere", she told Elle. For example, hypervigilance. It's noticing everything and constantly scanning my environment; being alert even when I'm trying to sleep - it's depleting and it never stops.

Getting back on stage and creating new music - like her two hit albums, Sweetener and Thank U, Next - have helped Grande cope.
