All fighters make weight for UFC 236 showdowns

All fighters make weight for UFC 236 showdowns”

UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones has called out Israel Adesanya ahead of his interim middleweight world title fight against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 236.

Holloway has cleaned out the featherweight division, which is why he'll be moving up in weight and making his first move up to 155 pounds.

"I feel like I'm in a dream right now. I've already killed one GOAT, I'm hunting the next". "To be the best, you've got to beat the best", Poirier said after the fight.

Poirier fired a warning to the Russian after his bruising win over Holloway, telling him: "In the words of my brother Daniel Cormier, get your sh*t together young man".

Nurmagomedov was quick to comment on the Poirier-Holloway fireworks, disagreeing with the scorecards but paying tribute to both - as well as telling Poirier he is all set for a September showdown.

Holloway, the current UFC featherweight champion, fought Poirier in 2012, with Poirier winning via a first-round armbar.

Nurmagomedov is now suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission over his brawl with Conor McGregor following their notorious battle back in October.
