Craig Wright vs. Hodlonaut: Binance CEO Threatens to Delist Bitcoin SV

Craig Wright vs. Hodlonaut: Binance CEO Threatens to Delist Bitcoin SV”

The CEO of the work's leading cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Changpeng Zhao has expressed his frustration with Craig Wright and even threated to delist BSV. And he appears to be willing to explain the reasons behind his move.

The community reacted to Zhao's warning by asking various exchanges to delist BSV and creating a #DelistBSV hashtag.

Wright was purportedly motivated by the anonymous twitter user calling him a fraud and accusing him of falsely claiming to be the mysterious creator of Bitcoin (BTC), Satoshi Nakamoto.

CZ went on to explain why he was breaking his usual neutrality in debates of this kind, mostly basing his intervention on the tension surrounding the BCH fork which gave birth to BSV towards the end of past year, which pushed Bitcoin prices away from the $6,000 range. The tweet is presumably a reaction to Wright's recent action against Hodlnaut, the Twitter user behind the Lightning Torch initiative. For starters, Craig Wright is one of the most controversial figures in the cryptocurrency space.

Wright's attorney's reportedly stated that he "has not fraudulently claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto" since he allegedly is Satoshi Nakamoto.

Backing CZ, the managing partner at Morgan Creek Digital, Anthony Pompliano said that every exchange should delist Bitcoin SV.

Other public figures supported the notion including Misha Lederman agreed with Pomp. It seems like everyone in the industry is exhausted of hearing Wright's claims without seeing any evidence that he is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto. However, the price of Bitcoin SV is already suffering.

Bitcoin Cash stands at the 5th position in the top cryptocurrency list according to market cap and is now trading around $108.26 with a market capitalization of around $1.9 billion according to CoinMarketCap data.

According to Gemini, they have obtained the approval to list Bitcoin Cash on their exchange from the New York State Department of Financial Services.

Do you think all exchanges should heed the call to delete BSV come May 1, 2019? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
