Disney+: How Much Will The New Disney Streaming Service Cost?”

It is titled WandaVision, yes it's the real title, and it will bring back Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany to reprise their iconic roles. Plus there is now news of a Hawkeye series starring Jeremy Renner as his Clint Barton character passes the torch to a young Kate Bishop.

We already knew that Marvel was going to have a big presence on Disney+, but with yesterday's official unveiling of the upcoming streaming service we got some official news regarding the live-action series, animated shows, and documentaries which are set to hit the small screen once the service gets underway later this year. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was onhand to tease Marvel's offerings on the TV side, which mark new territory as previous Marvel TV projects (like the Netflix shows and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) were handled by Marvel Television's Jeph Loeb.

The Apple TV+ on-demand, ad-free subscription service will launch this year in 100 countries, the company said.

"This story is definitely something unexpected and surprising, as well as something we could only do in a longform series."

As revealed at the Disney+ event (via THR), the first episode of What If? asks what if Peggy Carter had taken the super soldier serum in Captain America: The First Avenger, leaving Steve Rogers as a scrawny kid who eventually joins the fight against the Nazis (and Hydra) wearing a metal suit made by Howard Stark?

- Big spending on shows - Disney will invest heavily in the new streaming service, which is not expected to become profitable until 2024, chief financial officer Christine McCarthy told investors.

"These will be both new and continuing stories".

The fan frenzy surrounding the freshly released teaser for Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker serves as a timely reminder of Disney's omnipotence at the box office.

Also gearing up for streaming launches are: WarnerMedia, which owns studio Warner Bros (Lord of the Rings, The Lego Movie), HBO, and the rights to Netflix's biggest show, Friends; and Comcast's NBC Universal, owner of the U.S. version of The Office - another Netflix hit - as well as Jurassic World and Fast and Furious maker Universal. Scarlet Witch, Falcon, and Winter Soldier were all victims of the Decimation.

Wait, Are All These Marvel Shows for Disney+ Spoiling Avengers: Endgame?

The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical, and more will be available sooner than you thought: There are still no exact premiere dates, but all of the content previewed for investors will be available within the first year of launch.
