Forza Street Launches For PC, Mobiles Later This Year

Forza Street Launches For PC, Mobiles Later This Year”

"Forza Street was designed for racing on the go with streamlined controls that focus on timing of gas, brake, and boost as the keys to victory", the official description reads. Xbox has just announced that Forza Street is available on Windows 10 today, and that it'll come to Android and iOS later in the year.

Rather than the typical driving considerations, here, the experience is meant to be "cinematic".

Boosts can be earned depending on how well you time your gas-pressing, and winning races earns you a constant stream or credits and auto unlocks. "Whether players want to squeeze in a quick one-minute race or get immersed in a story campaign" Forza Street gives them those options.

This announcement doesn't mention a developer or release date for the mobile versions, but the prior leak said that Miami Street developer Electric Square was behind the game. Now, the company is expanding the series to Android and iOS platforms.

Microsoft's exclusive Forza racing series has alternated between its track-based Motorsport and open-world Horizon entries each year with great success, but now the publisher is ready to take the brand into the free-to-play arena with Forza Street, available from today (April 16) on Windows 10.

I think they can make a stronger case on mobile. We're sure that more will be added over time, though.

Free-to-play and racing don't tend to mesh well for me, but knock yourself out.
