Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib's Holocaust comments spark controversy”

This isn't the first time Tlaib has adopted the terrorist narrative about Israel.

Tlaib's comment was in reference to the establishment of the modern nation of Israel, which was declared an independent state in 1948, just a few years after more than 6 million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust. Some criticized the use of "calming feeling". So, because of the Palestinian Arabs' violent revolts, Jews were unable to escape Nazi oppression in Europe and flee to their ancient homeland, trapping them in Hitler's genocidal prison.

Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib of MI, the first Palestinian-American woman ever elected to Congress, appeared on Yahoo's "Skullduggery" podcast on Friday. "And it was forced on them".

Tlaib's interview featured on a Skullduggery podcast last Saturday. "All of you who are trying to silence me will fail miserably", Tlaib said. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., who is Jewish, argued her one-state solution would put Jews in the minority and out of power.

At Tlaib's Washington, D.C., office after her swearing-in on January 3, a Palestinian-American comedian stuck a post-it note with "Palestine" over the Middle East on a large map in the congresswoman's new office, BuzzFeed News reported.

In the first month of her term, she was swept up in multiple controversies surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict, including posing for a photo with with a Hezbollah-sympathizing Palestinian activist and other episodes.

"I grew up in a city that is the most attractive, blackest city in the country, the city of Detroit". She is also saying that Palestinians were Holocaust victims themselves, by giving up "their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence" for Jews to have a place to go. "I saw that separate but equal doesn't work". "And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided many ways", Tlaib said. But Tlaib's anti-Semitism is much more unsafe than Omar's.

Tlaib also attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu exclusively is to blame, according to Tlaib, for the condition of the Palestinian people and for a failure to bring peace to the region. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways. In fact, she demanded, they "should apologize to Rep. Tlaib & the American people for their gross misrepresentations". "Tlaib and other members of the Democratic caucus who are spreading vile anti-Semitism". A congressional resolution originally meant to admonish anti-Semitic comments was so watered down by an intimidated Democratic leadership that it probably worked to encourage more aggressive anti-semitism from those it targeted.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) defended Tlaib on Monday. Back in April, after a gunman opened fire at two Mosques and New Zealand, Omar made a speech that was criticized by Republicans for being dismissive of the 9/11 attacks. On May 9, Tlaib joined Women's March co-founder and anti-Semite Linda Sarsour at an impeachment rally on Capitol Hill.

He went say there was a "bad faith" argument made Monday that Tlaib was "calmed by the Holocaust", but a "good faith" argument that "maybe your history was not in alignment with everyone else".

Tlaib claimed the Palestinians "lost their land" and "lives" to create "a safe haven for Jews". We want to keep our journalism open and accessible and be able to keep providing you with news and analysis from the frontlines of Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish World.

This isn't an attempt by a serious lawmaker to scrutinize US policy toward Israel or pursue an honest peace-seeking plan.

"I think most fourth graders know what the Holocaust was, and she apparently doesn't", Cheney added, before directing the Fox audience to read this article in the New York Post upending Tlaib's narrative about her ancestors.
