Nokia 3.2 Review: A Budget Phone With Stock Android and Massive Battery

Nokia 3.2 Review: A Budget Phone With Stock Android and Massive Battery”

The only area where the users might feel that the Nokia 3.2 falls short is performance and this is owing to the Snapdragon 429 SoC which the phone packs. However, new details have surfaced and they reveal there will be two Nokia 5G smartphones this year as well as when they are expected to arrive. Both handsets are identical except for carrier-specific branding but are not to be confused with the regular Nokia 3.1, which uses different components.

While the Nokia 3.1 A is exclusive to AT&T, the Nokia 3.1 C will be sold through Cricket Wireless. The Nokia 3.1 A comes in Black color and will be available at select Walmart stores starting June 10th. The device sports polycarbonate body with a 2.5D curved glass on the front.

The Nokia 2.2 features a 5.7-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution. The adaptive display of the Nokia 3.2 also does a commendable job of adjusting to light indoors and outdoors. It is paired with either 2GB or 3GB RAM. Storage is a reasonable 32GB and can be expanded with a microSD card. For photography, it has a 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera. Another plus point of the Nokia 3.2 is the 4000mAh battery which delivers a battery backup to last you an entire day. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.

Unfortunately, as both the Nokia 3.1 A and 3.1 C have been carrier-customized, they are not officially part of the Android One program. It is the part of Android One software with promised support for the upcoming Android Q. Moreover, Nokia 2.2 is assured of at least three years of software updates that hints that it will see Android Q.

Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 have reportedly started receiving a new Android 9.0 Pie-based update along with the May Android security patch, and the update also brings a new feature apart from bug fixes and other improvements.
