Ubisoft officially announces new Rainbow Six Quarantine, coming out in early 2020”

The long rumoured Rainbow Six: Siege "zombie co-op" spinoff has been confirmed at Ubisoft's E3 press conference, and is indeed called Rainbow Six: Quarantine. It will launch in early 2020.

Rainbow Six Quarantine is an upcoming new title by developer Ubisoft. When a mutated alien parasite starts infecting human hosts, it's up to the Operators of Team Rainbow to stop the deadly threat before time runs out.

Developed by a new dedicated team at Ubisoft Montreal, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Quarantine is set several years in the future of the Rainbow Six Universe.

Watch the teaser trailer below.

All that was revealed of the next Rainbow Six game was a cinematic trailer, from the perspective of a character being infected by the contagion.

Siege has online multiplayer action covered, Rainbow Six: Quarantine is aiming for the PvE market.

You can sign up to hear more information about Quarantine on Ubisoft's website here, and hopefully we can expect to see an open beta in the coming months leading up to the game's full release.
