Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit the Lake District

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit the Lake District”

Following that meeting with the children, William and Kate proceeded to meet some farmers and take part in shearing some sheep. On Saturday, the young royal was spotted with two different hairstyles during the morning's celebration, including plaits.

Sam Rawling, who runs a farm that has been in his family for 500 years, said he was surprised farmers had voted for Brexit. "I remember you telling us about that, '" Irving recalled.

"William did want to know how people felt about Brexit. A lot of farming is an export market".

Kate has worn them twice this year already, including for a visit to a community garden in north London in January, and to the Scouts London headquarters in March.

Earlier in the day, they met a four-legged friend called Prince Harry as they visited Keswick.

The Duchess of Cambridge struck just the right style note as she joined Prince William in Cumbria yesterday.

The Duchess of Cambridge was visiting Cumbria, a farming district in North West England, and was dressed down for the occasion in pants and a coat.

The royal visitors are known to be dog lovers, owning an English cocker spaniel.

"She wanted to know if you'd be wearing your Princess Elsa dress", a sheepish dad laughingly relayed to the duchess, while the mini detective looked on. "You have also played a pivotal role in changing attitudes-and helping people to talk more freely about the way they are feeling and the daily challenges they face", he said.

The pooch is being trained as a therapy dog alongside Paddy and Max.

Royal commentator suggested the decision to ask about Brexit fell into pattern with previous attempts from the Royal Family to learn about the concerns of local communities but was still "surprising" to see Prince William "raised it so directly".

In Keswick the royal visitors were greeted by hundreds of well-wishers at the start of their visit to Cumbria.
