After journalists call to boycott Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor's production house apologises”

The Entertainment Journalists' Guild of India wrote in its letter that Ranaut's behaviour was uncalled for, and demanded a public statement from her and the film's producers.

Following this, A day after members of the Entertainment Journalists" Guild of India (EJGI) announced to boycott Kangana for her "un-called for behaviour' and demanded a public apology from the actress.

Members of the Entertainment Journalists' Guild of India (EJGI) have collectively made a decision to boycott Kangana Ranaut and demanded a public apology following an ugly spat between the national award-winning actor and a journalist. During the event, while Kangana and Rajkummar Rao, her co-star in the film, were interacting with the media and answering their questions, Kangana snapped at the journalist before he could even complete his question, catching him off guard.

The incident occurred when Kangana questioned the journalist's negative comments on her last release, "Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi".

Her film "Judgementall Hai Kya" is getting ready for release on 25th July and obviously the producer would be anxious.

The journalist denied the allegations and the actor's claim that he personally messaged her and spent three hours in her vanity van.

The media fraternity stated in their letter that was given to Ekta Kapoor that they will continue to support the film and will not come in between of the promotions but they will boycott Kangana Ranaut.

"Judgemental Hai Kya", which also features Rajkummar Rao, is scheduled to be released on July 26. Ranaut then accused Rao of making the argument about "star versus journalist".

Two days back, Kangana Ranaut unveiled the first song from her film Judgementall Hai Kya. Rest assured, we will not let this matter affect "Judementall Hai Kya' in any manner and will be supportive of your film and other cast members, barring Ms Ranaut".

Ranaut's sister and manager Rangoli Chandel said on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon that the actor would not apologise.
