STAR WARS' SITH TROOPER Debuting at SDCC Ahead of RISE OF SKYWALKER

STAR WARS' SITH TROOPER Debuting at SDCC Ahead of RISE OF SKYWALKER”

The Star Wars Show explains that these Sith Troopers are the "next evolution of the Imperial First Order soldiers".

"It has some really unique aesthetics to it. And it has some subtle ties to previous stormtrooper designs, which I think fans will enjoy discovering".

A full-sized Sith Trooper will join eight other costumes used during filming of the Star Wars movies at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, July 18-21 at the San Diego Convention Center, including an Imperial stormtrooper, TIE pilot, shoretrooper, biker scout, First Order stomtrooper, First Order TIE pilot, death trooper (introduced in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Captain Phasma costume.

The trooper armor display will also feature a photography and video component and Star Wars promises it will feature Star Wars creators and concept designers like Doug Chiang. Star Wars: Episode 9 Sith Troopers have been revealed as the latest in a long, long line of cannon fodder and generally rubbish marksmen. This early release edition will be available for $15.

Does this mean the Sith Troopers are connected to the mysterious role Palpatine will be playing in The Rise of Skywalker? It will be available for $32.

Of course, we know this isn't the first time we've seen red-clad "Star Wars" bad guys. Star Wars fans will also recognize the name derives from the Knights of the Old Republic game.

The Sith would eventually institute a strict training regimen to become a Sith Trooper.

StarWars.com has just officially revealed our first look at a brand new Stormtrooper design coming with The Rise of Skywalker: the red, angular, and very angry looking Sith Trooper. It's not yet known if they have any additional abilities - which could be the case as they're explicitly described as "Sith" - but you can bet they're a lot more fearsome (and better shots) than your average, vanilla Stormtroopers. The Sith Trooper was leaked and rumored for sometime and Lucasfilm has now confirmed the new trooper.
