WhatsApp Likely Working On Boomerang-Like Feature - Expected To Rollout Quickly

WhatsApp Likely Working On Boomerang-Like Feature - Expected To Rollout Quickly”

If you have not used the Boomerange feature on Instagram, then you need to know about it first.

WhatsApp developers seem to be working on a new feature for the popular multimedia messaging platform. As spotted by WABetaInfo, this feature is now in beta but not for public beta users. It is believed that the Boomerang feature for WhatsApp will also have a similar limit as that of Instagram. To use this feature, one needs to open the WhatsApp camera located on the left corner of the home screen.

Boomerang feature on Instagram now allows users to endlessly loop a video backwards and forwards, nearly like a GIF. The embedded video is listed here, check it out now!

This feature is not available yet but it is likely to reach the WhatsApp Beta users first. The Boomerang feature will join the existing option of converting a video into a GIF if it is less than seven seconds in length. Further, the video loops created through the new development could be shared with WhatsApp contacts through a message or uploaded as a Status update.

As of now, there is no information about the release date of this feature available with us.

WhatsApp regularly rolls out new features dedicated for chats. Also, if you like our efforts, consider sharing this story with your friends, this will encourage us to bring more exciting updates for you.
