It will the case of one Nigerian in and another out at AS Monaco this week as the club prepares to complete the signing of winger Henry Onyekuru hours after announcing it had severed ties with Director of Sports Michael Emenalo.

French giants AS Monaco have announced the departure of former Super Eagles star Michael Emenalo after spending nearly two years with the club.

Onyekuru who scored 28 goals in 57 appearances for Eupen between 2015 and 2017, equally scored combined 23 goals for the two clubs he served on loan viz; nine goals for Anderlecht and 14 goals for Galatasaray.

At Monaco, he will replace Belgian worldwide Nacer Chadli who has gone on loan to Anderlecht.

Ikpeba made 170 appearances for Monaco scoring 55 goals before moving over to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

The club confirmed that Emenalo's departure was by mutual consent.

He joined Monaco in November 2017 after being recommended for his eye for top talent, but his recruitment caused him to lose the confidence of his bosses.
