The provocative 36-year-old known for hits like "Super Bass" is engaged to music executive Kenneth Petty, and she recently said a wedding is in the cards in the coming months.

- Nicki Minaj says she's chose to retire after she took to Twitter to let her fans know that she is leaving the rap game.

She asked her fans to keep supporting her till death.

"I've made a decision to retire & have my family".

"I know you guys are happy now", she continued.

Minaj, whose career has led to multiple MTV Video Music Awards wins and 10 Grammy nominations, tweeted Thursday that she is retiring to spend time with her family. As you would expect, fans are extremely upset at the news, but they are understanding of her explanation.
