Meghan Markle's Father Tells Why He Released Letter She Sent Him

Meghan Markle's Father Tells Why He Released Letter She Sent Him”

The four who parted ways earlier this year to create their own separate households joined up again to narrate a clip from Public Health England on the Every Mind Matters programme. Add Royal Family as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Royal Family news, video, and analysis from ABC News.

The ad, which will air tonight at 8:45pm on ITV, Channel 4, Five and Sky, features Meghan, Harry, William and Kate speaking about the ways Every Mind Matters can help improve people's mental health. "We think there's nothing that can be done, nothing we can do about it". We feel stressed, low, anxious and have trouble sleeping.

"There are things we can do", says Meghan.

The full version of the short film, produced by Notting Hill and Love Actually director Richard Curtis and directed by British photographer Rankin, is set to air across all major United Kingdom television networks tonight, Monday, October 7th.

The project, called Every Mind Matters, allows people to take a short online survey pertaining to their mental and emotional health status, and then receive customized support based on their answers.

It is no surprise, though, that mental health is the cause that brought William and Kate, the parents of three, and Harry and Meghan, new parents to baby Archie, back together.

Meghan Markle's estranged father, Thomas Markle, said he released a private letter written by his daughter to "defend" himself following the February publication of a People story, in which the Duchess of Sussex's friends spoke about the letter and discussed the pair's tense relationship.

The royals have been outspoken advocates of increasing mental health awareness and breaking the stigma of mental health since launching Heads Together in May 2016.

"Up to now, we have been unable to correct the continual misrepresentations - something that these select media outlets have been aware of and have therefore exploited on a daily and sometimes hourly basis", Harry noted in his statement. "Did you hear anything I said?' It's nearly like they're ships passing".

Harry and Meghan have made talking about mental health a focus of their first two official overseas tours as a couple, in Australia a year ago and in South Africa this month.
