Sam Darnold Will Start Sunday For The Jets

Sam Darnold Will Start Sunday For The Jets”

Since starting the 2019 season 3-0, the Dallas Cowboys have lost two straight, with their once-dominant offense sputtering in critical situations and in need of a rebound against the New York Jets in Week 6.

On Monday, Adam Gase stated Darnold would, indeed, start if given medical clearance on Tuesday, and that's exactly what happened. He missed three games over four weeks, including the Jets' Week 4 bye. Tests last Thursday night revealed Darnold was not yet able to be fully cleared, and Luke Falk started his second straight game for NY.

When Darnold does come back, he might not like what he sees around him, as even Le'veon Bell hasn't been able to get anything going.

Backup Trevor Siemian started in Week 2 against Cleveland, but he suffered season-ending ligament damage in his left ankle in the 23-3 loss. Late Thursday, he was ruled out after an ultrasound and blood test.

"Let's get it Sammy", an excited running back Le'Veon Bell wrote on Twitter. Myself, along with life long Eagles fans Gregory Still and Avery Young analyze Sunday's victory over the Jets.
