CCTV shows London terrorists being shot dead by police”

All three were detained on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of terrorism offences and have been taken for questioning at a south London police station.

Investigators believe three victims were killed on the bridge, including one man who was thrown into the Thames River, before the attackers left the vehicle and stabbed five people to death around London's busy Borough Market, Haydon said.

Among those also in custody are a 27-year-old man and 29-year-old man, both from Ilford, who were arrested on Wednesday night on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.

After Thursday's raids, two men were arrested at separate addresses in Newham, and a third in the neighborhood of Waltham Forest. The second man, Rachid Redouane, had not aroused any suspicions. The arrests follow the detention on a 30-year-old man as detectives raided an address in Ilford in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police shot and killed the three attackers, who were wearing suicide vests that turned out to be fakes.
