Andrea Constand testifies in Bill Cosby trial”

He's denied attacking the former Temple University employee in his home outside of Philadelphia, claiming they had a consensual sexual relationship. "I remember wanting to pull up my dress and wanting to cover myself, but not being able to", Johnson said.

Gianna Constand, Andrea Constand's mother, told a Pennsylvania jury that she had a 2-1/2-hour phone conversation with Cosby after her daughter told her about the alleged 2004 assault a year after it happened.

Cosby, 79, is charged with drugging and sexually abusing Constand in 2004.

The pioneering American black actor faces three counts of aggravated indecent assault, with each carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail and a US$25,000 (S$34,500) fine.

Cosby's lawyers have tried to poke holes in her story, citing differences between her courtroom testimony and the accounts she gave police and in a lawsuit in 2005. She described him as a "mentor".

She said that after he assaulted her, she felt humiliated.

Within 20 to 30 minutes she began to slur her words and had trouble seeing, she testified. "I was frozen", she said.

She initially said she went to Cosby's house and was assaulted after a dinner out with other people.

Tuesday marked the first time Constand had faced each other in court since 2005, when she was given a financial settlement after she filed a civil suit against Cosby.

Constand then spoke about her first meeting with the entertainer via mutual friend.

Some 60 women have come forward to say Cosby sexually violated them, but the statute of limitations for prosecution had run out in almost every case. He invited her to dine with him at his home. "Mr. Cosby stood up and I stood up, 'cause he said, 'You probably need to relax.' And when I stood up, my legs were not strong and I began to panic a little bit". She says she made it clear she didn't welcome the behavior. Some time later, she says, she woke up half-naked in the bed in his hotel room. "I said, 'I did not, I just want to know what you gave me.' He said, 'Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait" and he wanted to speak to me near where the incident occurred".

"The man that I've known as a child was amusing and witty and smart and philanthropic and full of advice", she told ABC News.

"The next thing I recall is putting my two feet on the ground and feeling my brassiere up higher around my neck and I looked at my watch", she said, wiping a tear away from her left eye.

On Tuesday, Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Kristen Feden asked Constand why she contacted a private lawyer before police.

Cosby reportedly hung his head in hands during Constand's testimony, as well as rolled his eyes and shook his head.

At this point, Constand claims she "lost consciousness again", waking around 4AM, at which point Cosby offered her "a muffin and tea".

She also stated that she feared what Cosby might do if she came forward with her accusations. She testified she had responded that she did not. "They'll take the edge off". She said that when she awoke, Cosby was naked and forced her to sexually gratify him with her hand.
