EgyptAir tweet & delete Liverpool, Mohamed Salah news”

Despite the circumstances surrounding the Virgil Van Dijk episode, Liverpool have retained confidence they can secure all of Klopp's first choice summer targets and Salah will be the second significant addition following the recruitment of youngster Dominic Solanke.

Mohamed Salah's proposed move from Roma to Anfield seems to be finally on the verge of completion after a series of developments overnight, with the Egyptian global forward finally on his way to England to undergo a medical with the Merseyside outfit.

It looks like a breakthrough has finally been reached as the Mirror are one of several media outlets reporting today that Salah has been given the green light to fly-in to London later today.

So did the airline just confirm Salah is heading to Liverpool?

The newspaper says the Egyptian worldwide is likely to undergo his medical on Wednesday before signing a five-year contract with the Reds worth £90,000-a-week.

Salah is likely to move to Anfield in a deal worth more than the £35 million the Merseysiders paid Newcastle for Andy Carroll in 2011.

He said: "Liverpool's style of play suits Salah perfectly and Klopp's style suits him".

Salah is set to link up with the likes of Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino in a formidable attacking set up at Liverpool next season, as the Reds prepare for their return to Champions League football.

Premier League fans may best remember Salah for his failed stint with the Blues, but the 25-year-old was never given an extended run at Stamford Bridge.
