How soccer fans reacted to Champion's league final 2017 results”

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has said he plans on "keeping everyone" at the club, including manager Zinedine Zidane, after they defeated Juventus in the Champions League final on Saturday night.

You'd be forgiven for thinking that Real Madrid's Champions League celebrations might have died down a little.

Sergio Ramos described the Champions League final as Real Madrid's date with history after they became the first team to retain the trophy in the modern era, a run of success he stressed is no accident.

Speaking about the fixture, Mourinho claims it'll be an hour to face the best team in Europe.

Cristiano Ronaldo says he feels as young as ever after guiding Real Madrid to a record 12th triumph in European football's premier competition.

We're talking about a club that has just won the Champions League twice and made the double.

The Red Devils will go straight into next season's Champions League group stage after their Europa League win last month.

"I think we can get better".

Mario Mandzukic's stunning strike cancelled out Cristiano Ronaldo's 20th-minute opener for Juventus to reach the break at 1-1. "It was crucial for our performance in the second half".

But goals from Casemiro, Ronaldo's second and substitute Marco Asensio rewarded an outstanding second-half effort from Real.

It owed much to Madrid controlling midfield, largely thanks to Modric, who set up Ronaldo's second. Juve played very well in the first half, creating some opportunities, but in the second half we were very impressive.

Until now, no team since AC Milan in 1989 and 1990, when the cup was only a knockout competition, had won back-to-back titles.

"I can't say whether I'll stay for the rest of my life but I'm so grateful for the club for everything it has given me", Zidane told a news conference. "But we can improve the team".
