Rachel Bilson says she's open to a revival of The OC

Rachel Bilson says she's open to a revival of The OC”

'But it would be nice to see everybody again'.

The OC star Rachel Bilson has reignited hopes for a show reunion by saying she is open to the idea.

The 35-year-old actress hasn't played Summer Roberts for 10 years, but she would be "open" to reprising the role again, though she's unsure as to what sort of show the teen drama would be if it returned to screens after such a long absence.

Time to dust off Princess Sparkle and climb back aboard that sugar-plumb steed, for Rachel Bilson just said she'd be up for heading back to Orange County and, as far as we're concerned, that means there's an The O.C. reboot around the corner.

Of Summer's life as a 30-something-year-old, Rachel is "sure" that her character would be a mom on the reunion. Bilson admits she can barely remember where she left the character when the show ended, but concludes, "I'm sure she has kids with Seth".

Speaking to E! News, the actress said: "I'm always open to things". I don't know! She went to Brown, she was an activist, a philanthropist.

Rachel Bilson, aka Summer Roberts, of The O.C. is toying with the hearts of fans everywhere.

"I always see Josh", she said when asked if she's still in touch with anyone from show. Series producer Josh Schwartz also appears to have his hands full as he develops a remake of 80's cult classic "Dynasty". I always see Josh. Josh is like my brother; he's married to my best friend, actually.

Then the interviewer asked the question we've all been gagging to know the answer to: 'would you be interested in doing a reunion?'
