Google's Next Pixel XL From LG

Google's Next Pixel XL From LG”

For many, Google's decision of ending the Nexus line and focusing on building more high-end smartphones has come as a shock.

A couple of days ago, we got our first glimpse at what the 2017 Google Pixel XL 2 would look like. In the below image, which is based on everything we (think we) know so far about the Pixel XL 2, we can see the phone laid between the 5-inch gen 1 Pixel and the 5.5-inch Pixel XL.

Apparently, Pixel 2 has been assigned a codename dubbed as 'taimen' device.

A leaked image of the second generation Google Pixel XL have emerged and suggest the upcoming smartphone will look substantially different to its predecessor.

According to XDA developers, the latest Pixel will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, a significant enhancement from the current Snapdragon 821-powered Pixel phones.

This mystery would be solved once Google Pixel 2 attains in the market. The image's source also claims that the smartphone will have a squeezable frame. The company is expected to immediately follow it up with new high-end sequel models, tentatively called the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. But HTC's phone won't go the extra mile, so don't expect it to feature an nearly bezel-less screen.

One of the disappointing things of the Pixel XL 2 is that it does not feature a dual camera feature.

As with the smaller Pixel device, there hasn't been any new revelation. Google has not been linear with naming its phones. Meaning, the "Pixel 2" or "Pixel XL 2" isn't a permanent moniker until the official launch-which we all expect to be months away from now.

If we were to speculate, we'd say that the Google Pixel 2 will likely be released with upgrades in Google Assistant's capabilities. Starting and stopping various media functions? But it'll feature an all-screen design complete with smaller top and bottom bezels that will remind you of phones like the Galaxy S8 and the LG G6.
