LeBron James frustrated, concerned about Cavs' offseason moves”

According to a report from USA TODAY, LeBron James is both frustrated and concerned with the lack of positive offseason moves for the franchise. Zillgitt reported that James' optimism diminished after Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert declined to bring back general manager David Griffin and vice president of basketball operations Trent Redden. That decision was a cause for consternation for James, according to Zillgitt, because of James' concern about the Cavs competing with the Warriors in the offseason arms race. James was particularly perturbed by the timing of Griffin's departure, as the Cavs' former GM was reportedly "close" to striking a deal for Jimmy Butler, so James' frustration is certainly understandable.

A report from The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor earlier this summer cited sources who believe LeBron could join the Lakers next summer as a free agent, assuming Paul George also would elect to take his talents to Los Angeles. However, one team who seemed content with not really stealing many positive headlines was the three-time defending Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, and because of this, the King is apparently not all that happy.
