Sisqo Remade The 'Thong Song' And It's Sexier Than Ever Before

Sisqo Remade The 'Thong Song' And It's Sexier Than Ever Before”

Sisqó's 1999 hit single, "Thong Song", is making a comeback in 2017.

No don't expect Sisqo to reenact his infamous scene of running over a sea of women, but you can see the former Dru Hill front man is still rocking the dance moves.

What has happened is this: Sisqo teamed up with production trio JCY to bless us with a new version of his inescapable 1999 hit "Thong Song." Why? Can you imagine someone today writing lyrics like, "She had dumps like a truck, truck, truck"? The fact that the clip starts with an all-too-embarrassing question from his daughter after finding a thong on the family's hotel room floor only makes it that much better. "I thought it was dope and figured maybe it was time to put some new rims on the Bugatti".

Although the song isn't bad, whom asked for this? One being it is an absolute banger of a tune and the other is that it taught an entire generation of Australians that Americans, for stil unknown and obviously stupid reasons, call G-strings thongs. According to him, issues arose with the video shoot.

"I'd just done a show on the complete opposite side of the country where I dislocated three ribs".

The new video doesn't come close to the beach and booty-full delight of the original Hype Williams-directed visual (watch it below), but it's still fun to watch.
