ARSENAL to make a move for Carvalho

ARSENAL to make a move for Carvalho”

Despite Carvalho being interested in a move to Arsenal, Manchester City are reportedly interested in hijacking the Gunners' move for the defensive midfielder.

Significantly though, the report adds the Portuguese side are willing to do business for a cut-price fee of £27m and the 25-year-old is keen on a move to North London, with his hero being Gunners legend Thierry Henry.

Arsene Wenger's side reportedly face interest from fellow Premier League clubs in the race to secure a deal for the midfielder, with Newcastle and West Brom also reportedly interested in a deal for the Portugal star.

The report details that Arsenal are prepared to make a fresh move for the Portugal global. Most recently he was seen helping Portugal to third place in the Confederations Cup and was also a key part of their successful Euro 2016 campaign.

Carvalho has been with Sporting since joining the clubs youth system in 2005 and has developed in to one of the best midfielder's in Portuguese football since breaking in to the first team set up in 2013. Today, Willian Carvalho is linked with Arsenal... Arsenal have already signed Alexandre Lacazette to show their intent in the window and this would be another class addition if he joins.
