First Song: Qaidi Band's 'I Am India' launches at Gateway of India

First Song: Qaidi Band's 'I Am India' launches at Gateway of India”

The film revolves around seven innocent undertrials who form a band in the jail. Imagine if Rock On didn't have a great soundtrack (it's not hard actually, just visualise Rock On 2!) So, enter Amit Trivedi, the man who has belted some fantastic score for movies like Lootera, Fitoor and English Vinglish, to score music for Qaidi Band. The film is directed by Habib Faisal, who directed Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's film Ishaqzaade. After the interesting poster and captivating trailer, the makers have launched its first and perhaps the most important song from the film.

Saluting youthful optimism, never say die spirit and freedom as we experience it, this song from the film Qaidi Band is the flawless youth anthem for this season.

Th song can be defined as a high-energy track which has been written by Habib Faisal.

Composed by Amit Trivedi and sung by Arijit Singh and Yashita Sharma, the song is picturised inside the prison where the members of the Qaidi Band, headed by Aadar and Anya's characters, perform this song - completely charged with the Tricolour and patriotic spirit (yeah, there's lot of 'jhanda oocha rahe hamara' movements). We hope to see some good chemistry between them.

The movie, releasing on August 25, will launch two newcomers - Aadar Jain (Raj Kapoor's grandson) and Anya Singh.
