Rachel Lindsay Reveals Who She Wants to Be the Next 'Bachelor'”

There's a weird coldness between them that Bryan finally addresses, but Rachel assures Bryan that it's just a bit of nerves and stress.

The bachelorette admitted that because of her emotional goodbye to Kraus, who was emphatic about only proposing if he was absolutely sure and not because the show's season finale was set to air, she wasn't as prepared as she could've been at the final rose ceremony.

Then Rachel told Peter something straight-up diabolical: "I don't think this world, this process, this show is for you".

As for who Rachel thinks should be the next Bachelor, she said that Alex Bordyukov would make a great choice. In public together for the first time Bryan surprised Rachel by re-proposing to her with the Neil Lane ring he chose earlier that season to replace her "stand in" engagement ring. "I blanked out on what I was saying - I meant it and it was from the heart, but it was just so surreal that it was happening". There were more things left unsaid between Rachel and Peter on this couch than there was between Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams on a quiet New England intersection in Manchester by the Sea-and Casey Affleck (spoiler alert) accidentally burned down his fucking house.

To recap, Peter was a frontrunner (and an internet fave) from the get-go. Okay. Rachel. That's right. He said Rachel had made a man of him. I happen to be one of the correct "Bachelorette" viewers who is repulsed by Bryan. Love is treated as a contest, romantic decisions have to be made by the show's clock, and the series welcomes you in to eavesdrop on what's unfolding. "And we bring up, you know, all the tough topics", he continued.

Charlize Theron told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live!" that Lindsay "is smart, she is sexy, she is handsome".

After a couple of overnight dates with Eric, Rachel reluctantly had to let him go.

Peter couldn't commit to engagement, which Rachel repeatedly said was the endgame for her-this is a Bachelor show, after all. We don't know that we can be President yet, but we know that getting one of those blindingly shiny rings is an accomplishment, and we want it.

"Then go find someone you can have a mediocre life with", Peter says because all of a sudden he's a savage. She had also remained contestant in ABC franchise "The Bachelorette" previous season. "I feel like he's fighting it". Stories of princesses claiming their "happily ever after" in the form of a wedding to a prince taught many of us to yearn for marriage from a very young age. And after almost an hour of parsing what happened between Peter and Rachel-including a tense reunion between the two-Bryan walked away a "winner", even though it seemed Rachel was settling for the only man left standing. "I really wanted all my focus to be about Bryan". The episode opens with Peter and Rachel talking about their relationship, and Peter admits that he isn't sure if he's ready to propose.

Rachel Lindsay: I think I was justified in being frustrated with Peter because to get that far and still not know what you want to do was a complete contradiction to what he told me he would do. Instead, I trusted in the strength of my relationship in front of me. "We just want to build our lives together in a normal sense", she added. I really don't know! I don't know. Do you have one? A lot of people watched and we're happy you found each other. "You need more time". And while it can be hard to wait, if the relationship is right, the timing somehow just matters less. We talked to a monk, where we got insight about love and what it means to us. Bryan was still presented in the caddy and overly charismatic way that fans had come to expect (and loathe).

But even so, Rachel's journey hints at an important lesson. There's no rules, no checklist; at the end of the day, no one is keeping track. If I don't literally dive into someone's mouth with my mouth, am I not doing it right? Wishing you all the best! In the morning, Rachel hopes to have more clarity, but she seems not to.
