Manchester United and Arsenal have begun negotiations with Santos FC to bring 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Yuri Alberto to England.

Real Madrid recently signed a 16-year-old from Flamengo for a staggering £39.6m, and United could soon join them in paying such a significant fee for a player of this age, if the Reds are seriously interested in Yuri.

Alberto has attracted a lot of interest from several of Europe's top clubs after scoring a ridiculous 51 goals in 32 games at youth level, last year.

He might be just 16, but Alberto is now valued at £37.5 million after scoring 51 goals in 32 youth games in 2016.

"He is the new star of Brazilian football".

According to an unnamed source who spoke to The Sun, "United and Arsenal are very keen on Yuri". The Brazilian's open play against Spain, and will rely heavily on Alberto's skill set to achieve the lofty expectations set for them. The reports across the board have been positive about him.

Santos value Alberto at £37.5 million after the striker scored 51 goals in 32 games at youth level a year ago. However, we will be on display at the U17 World Cup in India, this month, after being named in Brazil's squad for the tournament.
