Police recover third vehicle allegedly involved in road rage incident”

The investigation officer (IO) requested the court for a 14-day remand as one absconding suspect is yet to be arrested.

Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) on Saturday morning recovered the third vehicle allegedly involved in a road incident on Sea View Road earlier in the day.

According to the police, a thorough search of the recovered black, double-cabin vehicle is underway, along with raids being conducted in PECHS, Kashmir Road, and adjoining areas.

After the accident, suspects travelling in double-cabin vehicle opened indiscriminate fire on the auto at around 9am.

According to the police, Khawar and his accomplices opened fired on a vehicle for not stopping after a collision with another motorcyclist. Meanwhile the rider of the bike-identified as Dr. Abdul Rahim-has disassociated himself from the suspects, saying he doesn't know them.

Police claimed that they have confiscated the weapon and auto used in the incident.

In a recently-surfaced CCTV video, the prime suspect and his accomplices can be seen speeding away after the murder.

Police said that the suspect hid at his Allama Iqbal Road residence. The case was registered on the complaint of Zafir's father.
