BlackBerry KEYone's New Bronze Edition Launched: Two Upcoming BB Smartphones Coming Soon

BlackBerry KEYone's New Bronze Edition Launched: Two Upcoming BB Smartphones Coming Soon”

Only two devices carrying the company's logo were released last year-the Blackberry KEYone and the Blackberry Motion.

Big news for BlackBerry at CES 2018: the company, actually owned by TCL, has announced a Bronze Edition of its latest device, which is the BlackBerry Keyone.

As soon as we get some more details on the exact launch date of the new BlackBerry KeyOne Bronze Edition smartphone we will let you guys know. "This means customers can expect to see at least two new BlackBerry smartphones from us later this year". The BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, out of the box.

There will also be a variant with dual-SIM support but it's not clear about regional availability at this stage. "In 2018 we will be working closely with TCL Communication to roll out Android 8.0 Oreo™, including additional security and other features, to continue to expand the overall BlackBerry smartphone user experience". As the name suggests, the new BlackBerry Keyone device is distinguishable from the original base model.

The BlackBerry KEYone arrived in April 2017 and at the time of launch was only available in a silver colour variant, however, this was followed later in the year by the BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition, which as well as offering a black colour version, boosted the storage and RAM from 32GB and 3GB respectively, up to 64GB and 4GB.

Coming to its specifications, the BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition has a 4.5-inch display with an FHD screen resolution of 1060 x 1620 pixels.
