Leslie Jones is Going to South Korea

Leslie Jones is Going to South Korea”

Now that the Winter Olympics are around the corner, NBC is giving Jones an even bigger upgrade: the comedian is now an official contributor to the network's Olympics coverage, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jones will attend live Olympic events and meet athletes once the games begin in Pyeongchang.

We can't wait to follow along.

Jones, whose avid live-tweeting and online cheerleading of Team USA during the 2016 Summer Olympics earned her a gig as an NBC contributor at those games, it looks like the Saturday Night Live amusing woman will be joining NBC for a second round.

Jones rose to Olympics superfan domination during the 2016 summer games, when audiences grew more obsessed with watching her watch the competitions than with tuning in for the actual Olympics. And Guess Where I'm Going!

At the start of the 2016 Rio Olympics, Jones tweeted a video of herself in the American flag and wearing plastic gold medals, cheering for Team USA and displaying her love for the Olympics. Upon seeing it, NBC Olympics president Jim Bell invited her to Rio. "Her passion for Team USA is contagious, and her adventures in South Korea should be fascinating".

Jones was an Emmy nominee for "SNL" and hosted last year's BET Awards.
