Xiaomi Mi Bunny WhatsApp service brings instant consumer support and more”

Xiaomi India is introducing subscription-based service on WhatsApp called Xiaomi Mi Bunny where users will be able to receive updates, news about new product launches, etc from the company.

To interact with Xiaomi Mi Bunny, you need to send "Xiaomi" to +91-7760944500 along with your name and city via WhatsApp.

Xiaomi India now officially has a WhatsApp Business account, meaning it will send Xiaomi related news to subscribed customers. The company says that a user will receive a call back from Xiaomi team after submitting the request. After this, the user will have to open WhatsApp and text Xiaomi, and they will get a welcome message from the company. The company also said that it will offer Xiaomi news, exciting product deals, new product launches, notifications about MIUI weekly updates, sale reminders and reminders about Mi Fan meet ups. The Facebook-owned service recently released its Business app - created to help small businesses communicate with their clients and consumers.

Apart from the aforementioned features, the service will also enable the users to raise customer support requests by texting "Support" and following the on-screen instructions. First of all, you need to add "+917760944500" to your contact list and then text Xiaomi on the number. However, its worth noting that the service is still in its Beta and more functionalities will be added to the upcoming builds. To unsubscribe this service, text STOP.

For people who're still wondering, this is the same WhatsApp Business standalone application introduced by the instant messaging platform a couple of weeks ago.

The company's blog post reads: 'This service is now being Beta tested and is limited to the functionalities mentioned above. The company also clarifies that user details such as their name, contact number, location and others will not be accessible to third party services.
