Bineesh Kodiyeri confirms brother's Dubai travel ban

Bineesh Kodiyeri confirms brother's Dubai travel ban”

Though it was reported that there is an Interpol probe against Binoy and a travel ban exists against him, Binoy went to Dubai from Kerala on his own will.

Dubai-based Jaas Tourism LLC has alleged Balakrishnan's son did not repay a loan which has since grown to Rs13 crore.

Meanwhile, Bineesh Kodiyeri, younger brother of Binoy Kodiyeri, told mediapersons here that there was a dispute with the company over Rs 1.

The document said the court was "sorry to inform" Binoy that it had issued a travel ban notice against him in case number 102/2018/69 that related to a "commercial due to the enforceable sum of 10,00,000 dirhams" (approximately ₹1.74 crore). Some quarters, he said, had created a smokescreen by quibbling that Binoy was knee-deep in debt and owed the Dubai businessman ₹13 crore. There is no urgency for him to come back here.

"To bring our father into the picture, at a time when the district conferences of the CPM are going on, is nothing but a politically motivated move by the media", he said. My brother and I are adults and are responsible for our actions.

Binoy Balakrishnan, son of Communist Party of India (Marxist) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, was stopped at the Dubai airport from where he was to catch a flight to Kerala, said a report on the website of Malayala Manorama, the largest Malayalam newspaper. Just because we are sons of state CPI (M) secretary it's unfair to say we can't do business, he reportedly said. Issues have to be resolved only if they exist.

The tourism company had planned to hold a press conference at the Press Club in Thiruvananthapuram with regard to their allegation against Binoy.

"A court in Karunagapally in Kollam has restrained the media from reporting on allegations raised by Almarzooqi against another person â€" Sreejith Vijayan, son of ruling Left Democratic Front MLA Vijayan Pillai.
