In Cincinnati, Trump touts impact of tax cuts”

President Donald Trump jetted over to Cincinnati, Ohio Monday to tout his economic accomplishments and newly enacted tax cuts, but he couldn't resist squeezing in a dig at the National Football League during his speech. Even with the recent losses, US stocks are up since Trump's election.

The president will deliver remarks to Sheffer Corp, an Ohio-based manufacturer that recently gave 126 workers $1,000 bonuses because of the tax bill.

"They talked about starting a family, or how much it will help with kids going to college", said Wilkin.

President Donald Trump is accusing Democrats of being "un-American" and maybe even treasonous for failing to applaud him during his State of the Union speech. He then asked: "We've made a lot of improvement, haven't we?" He says the practice is disrespectful to service members.

First Lady Melanie Trump will also be in the city. She visited a children's hospital in Cincinnati and participated in a briefing with physicians on opioid addiction.

It's a rare joint domestic policy trip for the first couple. The president pointed to the benefits of the new tax law for small businesses.

President Donald Trump traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday to visit a company that doled out $1,000 bonuses to its employees after Republicans passed their tax bill earlier this year.
