Brennan, former Central Intelligence Agency chief, blasts Trump over 'insecurity' on Russian Federation probe”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who cancelled last week's scheduled press conference following the Parkland shooting massacre in Florida, received harsh criticism online for the callowness of her statements.

President Donald Trump is once again going after Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Twitter, demanding to know why the Justice Department has not done more to investigate President Obama.

In recent days, Trump has repeatedly tried to shift attention to how President Obama handled Russian Federation interference in the 2016 election. He said on Sunday that they are laughing in Moscow at the lingering fallout from the Kremlin's election interference and that the Obama administration bears some blame for the meddling.

And Tuesday, when asked if Trump believes the FBI missed warning signs because of the time it's spending on the Russian Federation investigation, Sanders said that was "not necessarily" the cause.

ABC News chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl asked Sanders if the president thinks the thought that he tweeted, which Sanders insisted that he doesn't.

But Karl asked Sanders if President Donald Trump really thought-as he tweeted over the weekend-that the FBI failed to stop a school shooting in Florida because it was preoccupied with the investigation of the Trump campaign's potential collusion with Russian Federation during the 2016 election.

Not stopping there, the press secretary went on to quote the president, referring to the Russian investigation as "false allegations" that was only helping the "bad actors" in Russia from hurting American democracy.

Mr. Brennan led the Central Intelligence Agency from 2013 to January 2017, when Mr. Trump became president.

Asked why Trump hasn't condemned Russia, Sanders said, "He has been tougher on Russia in the first year than Obama was in eight years combined".

Despite Trump constantly denying the allegations, repeating the phrase "no collusion" on a routine basis, reports and evidence say otherwise. Trump pointed at the Obama administration for not intervening earlier.

He was responding to Mr. Trump's tweet earlier Tuesday in which the president said, "I have been much tougher on Russian Federation than Obama, just look at the facts". It was one of the first times that you've seen something like that take place.

Sanders traveled to South Korea past year with the President during his Asia trip. It's also very clear that it didn't have an impact on the election.
