Jennifer Lawrence reveals the movie role she most regrets losing out on”

Recall, Jennifer Lawrence chose to tell the details of their relationship with Darren Aronofsky. In an interview with Howard Stern, the 27-year-old actress, who was catapulted to stardom because of her role as lead Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise, admitted the films she failed in getting and the one that had affected her.

Months after Jennifer Lawrence and director Darren Aronofsky called time on their relationship, the actress has opened up about her current relationship status and the matter of casual sex. "I don't know, that is where this stuff gets tricky".

While going through the actions of auditioning for films was hard, she said she was "not jealous" when she missed out on an opportunity. Not only did that film serve as Lawrence's breakout role, but she also earned her first Academy Award nomination for her performance. She managed to avoid being pigeon-holed by taking on starring roles in the revamped X-Men movies, as well as her other critically-acclaimed projects American Hustle, Joy, and Silver Linings Playbook, for which she finally won the Best Actress Oscar in 2013.

"Most of the time, you're like, 'Wasn't meant to be, ' 'Move on, what can you do, '" Lawrence revealed.

Lawrence always seems refreshingly realistic and unspoiled about her film star career but confessed she has only one regret.

The role eventually went to Mia Wasikowska and the movie was a huge hit, pulling in over a billion dollars worldwide. So what was the one thing that really "killed" her to lose? "I didn't really know what it was.", she told Stern. However, Lawrence admitted she was then used to indie projects, so the film, based on the book of the same name by Suzanne Collins, was a timely opportunity for her.
