Man forces son to run to school in the rain for bullying

Man forces son to run to school in the rain for bullying”

A Virginia dad is getting a lot of attention NOT for the discipline he doled out to his 10-year-old son, but for posting video of the "old school, simple parenting" punishment to social media.

Bryan Thornhill filmed the punishment from his auto as he drove alongside his son, posting the live footage to his Facebook profile.

He explains that his son got kicked off the school bus for three days "because he was being a little bully, which I do not tolerate".

"Therefore, he has to now run to school".

Bryan does see the amusing side of the situation however and even comments on his son's impressive speed: 'The good news is guys he keeps up a pretty good mile pace, 6 miles an hour so far'.

No exceptions were made because of the rain, because he said Hayden had been rude the day before.

"I just wanted to show everybody and give you a good little laugh". Thornhill point outs that his son is keeping a pace of six miles (about 9.6 kilometres) an hour. "He hasn't gotten in trouble this week, where last week, he was just absolutely out of his mind", Thornhill said in a video, according to RNN.

Thornhill later says the punishment has been working as his son's behavior has been "much better".

"We're gonna make sure that one way or another his teacher's are gonna be able to enjoy his company at school, he's not disrupting his classmates and everything else".

The video has been viewed more than 1.6 million times so far with many agreeing with how he handled the situation. "That's what children need these days". "I bet this kid won't be bullying anytime soon - if at all", wrote one Facebook user.

Another wrote: "It's great to see a parent who's NOT afraid to correct/punish their child when needed & deserved". Have you ever thought maybe there is a reason he's being a bully?
